The best! The kind of restaurant that you see from the road and turn the RV around. Family run. The friendliness people make you feel welcome. Burgers, fries, onion rings and of course a milkshake. So good.

Okay, this is a weird one. Buckle up. First off, the highway signs are pretty off-putting, nonetheless captivating. One of them mentioned “Spanish food,” which is bizarre, considering they don’t serve any “Spanish food” whatsoever. I think they’re slightly confused, because French fries with enchilada sauce and cheese is not “Spanish,” nor is it Mexican. Typical white Mormons confusing their cultures.... But despite that extremely embarrassing flaw in advertising, Taylor Freeze offers some delicious eats in an otherwise gastronomic void. I ordered their Wednesday special, the bacon burger combo. It was a compact burger, but perfectly assembled and seasoned. Think of Wendy’s but way better. I loved the chopped lettuce, pickles, and mustard. Despite being small, patty and all, it was delicious. And the fries were fire, balancing that act between crispy and not overdone, beautifully colored and seasoned, albeit lacking fry sauce (come on, Mormons), which is somewhat odd for mormon-land. The customer service was phenomenal. They asked for my name and called me by name. The cashier was extremely friendly. They even asked if I wanted onions. Yes. Hell yes I want onions. I only wish the burgers were bigger. Then again, in hindsight, maybe most burgers are a little too inflated. Remember: the hunger we feel is an indicator of how soon we should eat, not how much. And therefore, the portion size was perfect. I left feeling full, not stuffed, and with that being said, Taylor gets a deserved 5 stars. Bravo. Bravo.

Very cute little shop, it's been around since the 1960s. I've had a daughter work here who could tell some ghost stories--the girl who got stuck in the freezer overnight over 30 years ago, whose ghost is blamed every time something goes wrong with the equipment (many of which are also over 30 years old) . What I really love about this place is it's small-town atmosphere, special signature menu items, and fresh-faced & friendly employees. Sometimes it takes them longer to bring you part of your order because they make everything on the spot. Sometimes they can't make something because the ___ machine isn't working today. But you know you're getting your money's worth, and you know you're getting a slice of pure Americana that's almost disappeared from our great nation. I recommend if you have the time, go inside and sit down while you wait for your order. Read some of the plaques, jokes, and articles on the wall (my wife's favorite: "Behind every successful rancher...is a wife who works in town."). Listen to the chatter of the employees as they cheerfully fill the orders. And say hi to some of the locals who stop in. I guarantee you'll want to come back again and try something else. Not because you didn't like your first order, but because of the charm of the place, and because so many things on the menu sound so good, you'll have a hard time choosing. My favorite on the menu is the Avalanche (pictured): 4.89 for a large. Note that there is a 0.50 charge for using a card as payment, and 0.50 for dipping sauces, both of which seemed high to me, considering that most restaurants don't charge for either. Then again, most restaurants aren't a small family operation. I don't begrudge that small expense if it keeps them in business.

This was an awesome and nostalgic little shop! I had an espresso cone dipped in chocolate and the Wednesday special, which is a bacon cheeseburger with the best fries I've had in a loooooong time. The kind that seem battered they're so crisp and delicious yet soft potato-y in the inside. So damn good. The girl at the counter was super nice and attentive which is cool. Bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen area that is visible was immaculate. Very great spot.

This place was amazing!! The ice cream was so delicious!! On top of that being from Texas and stopping at a little place in the middle of nowhere walking out and looking down by the door you will see them supporting Suicide Prevention! Which is really crazy because my name is Holli and my son passed away from suicide at the age of 17, 9 years ago!! Seeing this was just a sign that my son was with me and knew I would love this place!! Stop in and get you so amazing ice cream and wonderful environment with friendly staff!

Delicious place to eat on the beautiful drive down to Pima. Burgers were awesome, tacos were fresh and on point! Ice cream sundae was perfect and tasty. Definitely stop by and eat and enjoy the beautiful snowy mountains of Mt. Graham. Easy drive thru, staff was super friendly. Didn’t have to wait long for food. We will be back!
